The EHE LIGHT™ UV activator device is the heart of the system: a champagne aluminium body with a built-in amber safety shield, emitting UV-A light calibrated to 395 nanometres. You apply the UV adhesive to the section, position the extension and activate the light: 6 to 8 seconds on the top and 6 to 8 on the underside, within 1 cm of the bond.
No heated iron. No heat on the hair. The adhesive cures instantly into a strong, invisible and flexible bond that, once cured, is water and sweat resistant.

The science of the system

At the heart of the EHE LIGHT™ system is a calibrated photoinitiator chemistry: when the adhesive is exposed to the 395 nm wavelength, the photoinitiators absorb the UV photons and trigger curing instantly, creating a solid, cross-linked and flexible polymer network that moves with the hair.
Traditional keratin adhesives are applied at between 160°C and 200°C, temperatures that break disulphide bonds and damage the cuticle. UV curing takes place at room temperature, preserving the structural integrity of the hair.
The built-in amber shield protects both the professional and the client during every curing cycle. Follow the distances and protective measures given in the instructions.
And when it is time for a refit: the removal solution, activated by heat at 120°C, weakens the matrix in a controlled way and releases each strand cleanly, without pulling and without residue.

Water resistant, with a few precautions
The cured bond hardens immediately and is water resistant, but it benefits from a little patience: ideally keep the bonds dry for the first 3 days, then wash the hair 2 to 3 times a week. Prolonged moisture can soften the bond over time.

How to apply UV extensions:
a few seconds of light.
From the first strand to the perfect bond: the EHE LIGHT™ professional protocol.
Prepare the hair
Wash the hair with a gentle sulphate-free shampoo, rinse it thoroughly and dry it completely. Do not apply conditioner, mask, oil or any other product after washing.
For a proper bond with EHE LIGHT™, the hair must be clean, dry and free of residue.
Position the strand
Lay the extension strand flat on the natural hair, aligning the tip with the attachment point. The initial tack allows precise micro-adjustments before curing.
Ideal weight per strand: 0.5 to 1 g, 1 to 1.5 cm from the scalp.
Apply the adhesive
With the precision dropper, place one controlled drop of UV adhesive, 2 to 3 mm across, on the section of natural hair. Less is more: the small drop is the invisible drop.
The adhesive gives you all the time you need: nothing hardens until you decide it should.
Spread the adhesive
With the brush supplied in the EHE LIGHT™ kit, spread the adhesive from top to bottom across the whole bond area between the natural hair and the extension, without applying it to the scalp.
Incomplete contact creates weak points: spread it, do not pile it up.
Cure on both sides
Cure above and below the bond, following the times, distance and protective measures given in the EHE LIGHT™ instructions: device within 1 cm, 6 to 8 seconds on the top and 6 to 8 on the underside.
A properly cured bond is firm and not sticky to the touch.
